That is the whole idea. SideOf applies it to how people connect. MaterialLogix applies it to how people make things. They do not look alike, and they do not need to. They share the idea.

I see all sides before I build. That’s not hesitation. It’s how I design for real people.

The name is not decoration. Before anything here gets built, the problem is turned over: who wants what, why each side of it exists, and what it costs to ignore any of them. Then a decision gets made.
It shows in the products. On SideOf, the question was how to keep people private without making it impossible to meet anyone nearby. In MaterialLogix, it was how to keep your work on your own computer without shutting out people whose computer cannot handle the job. Real tradeoffs, decided on purpose. Pretending they are not there is how a tool ends up quietly deciding for you.
Where it came from
One thing led to the next. This is the order it actually happened.
Kevin was building an apparel line. The design software the industry runs on stopped him. It assumes you already know it, and he did not have that training. The line went on hold. So did the idea that a person should need a course before they are allowed to make something.
It started in a conversation with a friend about how people on the same app can want completely different things. One person wants company for the evening. Another wants a real conversation, or something else entirely. The problem was never matching people. It was giving each intention its own space, with its own permissions and its own boundaries.
It became more than an idea when Kevin found out in person what it costs when an app gives away more about you than you agreed to. From then on, location privacy, consent and controlled contact were requirements. Not features, and never the upgrade.
Launching SideOf needed photography, film, voice and graphics, and the generative tools on offer were complicated, expensive, or produced work he would not put his name on. That need became the Studio. And the software that had stalled the apparel line became the reason for MaterialLogix Fashion: get from an idea to a factory-ready design without a course first. The Studio made the pictures on this page.
What we make
Connection and creation. Both get hard the moment a person loses control of intent, access, location, files, cost, or the tools needed to take part. So both are built around not taking that control away.
Every side of you, kept apart.
Connection apps compress intent. Everyone is one public profile, an exact location is treated as a feature, and a conversation in one context becomes an invitation in another.
SideOf runs on a Safety and Boundary System. Social, Dating and Private are separate Sides with hard walls between them. Discovery works from an approximate location, never an exact pin. A conversation starts with a request, invitations between Sides are controlled, and Dating and Private are separate opt-ins. Nothing you do on one Side gives anyone access to another.
Safety is not the upgrade. It is the architecture, and it stays free.
Finish what generation starts.
Between an idea and a professional result sit cost, complexity, training and hardware. Most people stop there. The answer is not to lower the result. It is to make the capability learnable.
MaterialLogix Studio is photo, video and voice in one workspace that runs on your own computer. Heavy jobs can go to secure US cloud processing, only when you send them. We do not train on your work, and everything you make exports in formats you can open somewhere else.
Easier to use never means lower quality. The same standard covers what a beginner gets and what a professional gets.
Shared principles
The same principles, applied differently. On SideOf, the person and their boundaries are protected. In MaterialLogix, the creator, their files, and their control over processing are protected.
Studio runs on your machine. If your work is processed there, it never reaches our servers, and we do not need to see it. When a job needs more compute than you own, a secure cloud route exists, and you are the one who sends it there.
Not everyone owns a workstation. Privacy was weighed against accessibility, and the answer was not to ignore either side. Two routes, and the one that asks for more trust is the one we secured.
We do not sell it and we do not train on it. If that ever changes, it will be something you turn on, never a default. Your data leaves with you when you ask for it, and your exports open somewhere else. On SideOf, what you show on one Side stays off the others.
Easier to use is never an excuse for lower quality. A target is called a target. Nothing is finished until it is.
The company
LIBRASIDE TECHNOLOGIES LLC is a District of Columbia limited liability company, formed in 2026. One standard covers everything it makes: how it is built, and what we say about it.

MaterialLogix Studio is built and not yet released. SideOf is in beta. MaterialLogix Fashion and Builder are in development.

Founder
Kevin is laid-back by nature and serious about getting things done. He weighs the sides of a problem, understands why each one exists, and then decides. That habit is the Side in LibraSide.
Every product here started as something he needed and could not get: a way to meet people that respected different intentions, a design tool that did not ask for a course first, a studio that could carry a brand’s campaign work without a team.
He is developing an apparel label of his own, not yet launched, and he does all of it around a full-time operations job.
We make complex things easier and safer without taking control away from the user.
